Elme Magnets’ eddy current separator harnesses the powerful principle of induction to efficiently separate non-magnetic metals from various material streams. A rotating magnetic field induces eddy currents within the metals passing through the separator. These eddy currents generate a magnetic field that opposes the external magnetic field, causing the metals to be repelled from the material flow.
Separation on both sides of the drum
